[ designProcess ]

Initial Meeting
Site meeting to discuss and define your needs and better understand the site opportunities and limitations.

Fee Outline

designPush will issue a fee outline following the initial meeting. The fees are given in stages of work, so you can choose those services appropriate to you.

Feasibility Study
Should you wish to explore unknown aspects of the design such as scale, materials, massing, use of site etc. a feasibity study can help to establish some fundamentals of the project brief. This can save time and money in the long term, by eliminating any uncertainties early in the process.

3D Model
We offer the option of a ‘3D model’ to help you both visualise the space and assist in the design and decision-making process.

Outline Design
Following our initial briefing (and if appropriate, feasibility study) a first design will be agreed and ‘outline-drawings’ produced. This will provide the base information for the Planning Application if required.

Detailed Design
With planning approved the project information will be developed into a ‘detailed design’ with additional construction information and notes. These will be submitted for building regulations approval.
designPush will coordinate with other specialist consultants; Structural Engineers, Planning Consultants and Approved Inspectors for example. We will also liaise with the local authorities where appropriate.

Tender Action / Site & Contract Supervision / Completion

We offer additional services, including the preparation of tender documents, detailed construction drawings for bespoke construction and joinery, and the preparation of an appropriate building contract. Our on-site services include inspection of work, progress monitoring, valuations, and final snagging on completion.
